Nostalgia Film Festival (NFF) is the first independent Iranian film festival in the north of Italy, with no affiliation to any political or religious organizations, launched in 2019 with the aim of displaying attractive and broad audience Iranian cinematic productions in the European zone.
Nostalgia Film Festival will take place from 21 to 24 September at the auditorium of the Politecnico di Milano.
Mission
Our festival is a seasonal event showcasing independent feature and short films made by Iranians from around the world. The main yearly event will be held in last of September.
NFF, even if for a short period of time is trying to be able to create sweet and nostalgic memories of the Iranian gathering in Iran for our Iranian audiences and presenting a part of Iranian culture and cinema for the non-Iranian audiences of the festival.
Passion
Selection of films will be solely based on the taste and desire of the audience in each period regardless of pursuing a cultural, Political or any other approach.
We believe that the major audience artworks at any given time reflect the cultural, social, economic, and political concerns as a part of a society that has been properly expressed and appreciated by its audience.
