Iranian Film Festival in Milan. The CineClub Vittorio De Sica Cinit of Rionero among the promoters.

The New Armenia Association in collaboration with the Nostalgia Film Festival – also promoted by the Lucanian CineClub “Vittorio De Sica” Cinit

– organizes the Iranian Festival in Milan. Several short films selected from the works of the best Iranian filmmakers. This Festival it is preparatory to the Nostalgia Film Festival which is the only Iranian film festival in Italy, aimed at promoting the independent cinema of Iran.

The event, which will take place on 3 October at 21:00 in Milan, in the garden of the Nuovo Armenia in via Livigno, 9 will see the screening of the following short films from the Festival:

“Tanakura” by Hamed Parizadeh , Seyed Meysam Hasani , Amir Reza  Rashti,

“Birthday Night” by Omid Shams,

“Towers to Heaven” by Alireza Javanmard,

“Delay ”by Ali Asgari,

“Mr. Deer” by Seyed Mojtaba Mousavi,

“Abbas Kiarostami”  by  Midia Kiasat,

“The Massacre” by Saman Hosseinpour .

“It is a wide-ranging cultural operation – underlines Armando Lostaglio, president of the CineClub Vittorio De Sica – which makes Cinema an essential moment of knowledge and dissemination of other cultures, respecting an increasingly emerging tradition. It was De Sica himself, over 25 years ago, who made people appreciate in Basilicata with the CinEtica Exhibitions, many works by Iranian directors hitherto absolutely unknown, from Kiarostami to Makhmalbaf to Panhai and others
