Nostalgia Film Festival (NFF) is the first independent Iranian Film Festival to be born in Italy, and will take place from 26 to 28 November 2019 at the auditorium of the Politecnico di Milano. The initiative has no affiliation with political or religious organizations, but is intended to show feature films and short films made by Iranian authors from all over the world. NFF is also a platform for Iranian filmmakers living in different parts of the world, aimed at expressing their vision and talent through Cinema. Nostalgia Film Festival was also established to support Iranian cinema and culture in the Italian-Iranian community active in the Lombardy region.The selection of films was determined by the taste and cultural trends of our time, regardless of the pursuit of an intellectual, political or other type. The Festival intends to create sweet and nostalgic memories for Iranian audiences beyond national borders and also to present to the world that culture that Cinema knows well to represent. The Nostalgia Film Festival, which is the cultural partner CineClub “Vittorio De Sica” – Cinit of Rionero in Vulture (Basilicata) and the Religion Today Film Festival di Trento, consists of 25 short films and nine feature films, with directors who have shot not only in Iran. The founder of the Festival is the writer Mohammad Qanefard , a member of the Documentary Producers Association of Iran, who has so far made 20 short films presented in various festivals around the world, as well as a member of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society. Co-founder is Mohammadreza Nouri graduated from the Business School of the Politecnico di Milano, as well as director and consultant of over 50 business projects in Iran and other countries. The members of the Executive Committee are the director Lia Giovanazzi , founder and director of the international film festival of interreligious dialogue “ Religion Today”, (1997-2008); Armando Lostaglio , journalist and critic, founder (25 years ago) of the CineClub “ Vittorio De Sica ” national vice president of CINIT Cineforum Italiano; Alberto Beltrami , musician and president of Religion Today in Trento. For international relations there are: Golshan Barazesh senior member of UNICEF and winner of the Miss Top of The World-1 2019; Giulia Bisinella , graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and member of the NY Theater Company 2012-13 Performing Arts at the European Academy of Dramatic Arts and at the 71st RAI Cinema Spot International Film Festival; Parinaz Taghibeik Designer and conceptual artist with a degree from the Alzahra University of Tehran. They are part of the organization Holiday CG, Investment Advisory DI Nour and PolIran.
